Job summary

Help At Home in Illinois is seeking a Care Supervisor to lead home care teams and ensure high-quality care for clients at home. This role emphasizes supervising aides, coordinating plans of care, and maintaining accurate documentation to support client wellbeing.

You will ensure confidentiality per HIPAA, monitor staff performance, and communicate schedules with clients and colleagues. Regular travel to client homes is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required; may require higher level of education or certification.
• Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
• Current PPD, or Chest x-ray if applicable.
• Medicaid, Waiver, or Home Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client and employee files and related paperwork.
• Protect confidentiality of patient/client information per HIPAA guidelines.
• May provide direct training.
• Assign homecare aides based on client needs and Plan of Care.
• Monitor performance of homecare aides to ensure quality of care.
• Communicate schedules with clients, aides, referral sources, team leads, and managers.
