Job summary

Right At Home Southwestern Illinois is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead in-home caregiving services across St. Clair, Madison, and Monroe counties. The role emphasizes quality care, caregiver mentorship, and proactive issue resolution within client care plans.

You will coordinate with the Care Manager, supervise caregivers in the field, and maintain precise care records while driving ongoing training and service improvements for client families.

Qualifications

• 5 Years of caregiving experience.
• 2 Years of experience caring for people with Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s.

Responsibilities

• Start each day reviewing care logs, schedules, and caregiver check-ins to stay ahead of any issues before they become problems.
• Coordinate directly with the Care Manager to plan your day and prioritize what matters most.
• Visit clients in their homes on a regular schedule to observe care quality, assess caregiver performance, and ensure every client\'s service plan is being followed.
• Personally introduce caregivers to new clients on their very first shift — setting the tone for a strong, trusting relationship from day one.
• Conduct client satisfaction check-ins between visits to make sure every client feels heard and well cared for.
• Provide hands-on, in-home training whenever a caregiver needs to learn a new skill, adapt to a client\'s changing needs, or sharpen their technique.
• Coach and mentor caregivers in real time — this isn\'t a desk job, it\'s active leadership in the field.
• Respond quickly when incidents or changes in condition occur — visiting clients, completing follow-up, and coordinating with the Care Manager to update care plans.
• Keep detailed, accurate records and ensure our documentation always reflects what\'s actually happening in the home.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help drive the agency\'s commitment to exceptional care.
• Support caregiver onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing training on our care management platform
