Artheon is seeking a highly motivated Senior Highway Engineer to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ or Berlin. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of highway design and transportation engineering experience and possess expertise in CAD tools such as AutoDesk Civil3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.

The responsibilities include leading highway design tasks, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with NJTA/NJDOT/AASHTO standards, and delivering plans, reports, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of highway design or transportation engineering experience.
• PE license in New Jersey or reciprocity within a year.

Responsabilités

• Lead highway and roadway design teams on planning and design tasks.
• Develop highway alignments, profiles, typical sections, and safety improvements.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Evaluate safety improvements and plan traffic management during construction.
• Ensure designs comply with NJTA, NJDOT, AASHTO and local regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and plans using CAD software (MicroStation preferred).
• Perform quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and project specifications.
