Job summary

Artheon is seeking an experienced Highway Project Manager to join our transportation engineering team in Camden, NJ. The ideal candidate has ~15+ years in highway design and transportation engineering, with a PE license preferred.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical guidance from concept through completion. The role involves leading highway design, safety improvements, and compliance with NJ standards, NJTA, and AASHTO

Qualifications

• 15+ years of highway design/transportation engineering experience.
• New Jersey PE license preferred.
• Experience managing projects from concept through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage highway and transportation projects from planning through final delivery.
• Provide technical oversight for roadway design and safety enhancements.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining relationships and status updates.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet budgets and schedules.
• Oversee MPT planning, barriers, signage, and construction staging.
• Ensure designs comply with NJTA, NJDOT, AASHTO standards.
• Review technical reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Support business development and pursuit of new opportunities.
• Mentor engineers and staff to ensure quality across deliverables.
