Artheon is seeking an experienced Highway Project Manager to lead our transportation engineering team in East Brunswick, NJ. The ideal candidate has ~15+ years in highway design and transportation engineering and a NJPE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 15 years of progressive experience in highway design and transportation engineering.
• New Jersey PE license preferred.
• Proficiency with roadway design software (MicroStation/OpenRoads/InRoads/Civil 3D).
• Strong project management and client communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage highway and transportation projects from planning and design through final delivery, including scope, schedules, budgets, staffing and deliverables.
• Provide technical oversight for highway design, alignments, typical sections, cross-sections and safety enhancements in line with NJTA, NJDOT and AASHTO standards.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and transportation agencies, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Lead coordination with project managers, engineers, designers, clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee safety improvements and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic plans and construction staging.
• Ensure project designs comply with NJTA, NJDOT, AASHTO standards and local requirements.
• Review and oversee preparation of technical reports, contract plans, specs and cost estimates.
• Support business development, scope development and pursuit of new transportation opportunities.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to engineers and staff.
