Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering information, analyzing data, and presenting options to leadership for decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in estimating, strong numerical and analytic skills, and proficiency with Excel and Power BI. You will collaborate with operators, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders during heavy

Qualifications

• 5+ years in estimator role; highway or structures asset maintenance a plus
• Strong knowledge of financial and project management principles
• Experience with data analysis methods and estimation formulas
• Advanced math and IT abilities with an analytical mindset
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting model
• Understand the project/program and its requirements
• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
• Gather first-hand information from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators
• Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, etc.
• Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting
• Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
• Create and submit estimate reports and/or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, leadership)
• Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers)
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews
