Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by collecting data, analyzing variables, and presenting options to leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimator experience, strong numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to work with subcontractors and suppliers. Collaboration across teams and occasional non-standard hours are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven experience as estimator or similar position.
• Experience with highway or structures asset maintenance is a plus
• Strong financial and project management knowledge.
• Advanced math and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting business model.
• Understand project requirements and identify key cost drivers.
• Gather data from sites, suppliers, subcontractors and operators.
• Conduct research on labor, materials, and production times.
• Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Review offers/quotes from subcontractors or vendors.
• Create and submit estimate reports or bids to leadership.
• Build relationships with vendors and engineers.
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews.
