Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer in California to lead inspection and quality assurance on highway and roadway construction projects.

The role requires at least 8 years of roadway/highway inspection experience, strong engineering judgment, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and public utilities. Onsite work at client sites with occasional in-person collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in California is required.
• Minimum 1 Caltrans highway project experience.
• Minimum 8 years’ roadway/highway construction inspection experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with stress analysis and materials.
• Strong collaboration with contractors and utilities agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection and QA on highway and roadway construction projects.
• Determine if completed work follows plans and specs.
• Coordinate with contractors and public utilities agencies.
• Maintain project records and reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate with project team and CMCs.
• Onsite at client site with flexible in-person collaboration.
