Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to ensure safety and compliance on transit-related projects in California. The role involves supervising contractors, maintaining records, and coordinating change orders to keep scope, cost, and schedule on track.

Ideal candidates hold a PE in California, a relevant engineering degree, and at least ten years of construction management experience on large projects, with three years in supervisory roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or another related field
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in California
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Construction Management on transit projects of at least $30 million.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in the management of major, construction contracts of similar size and scope
• Valid California Class C driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of Accenture and Client employees and the traveling public by observing contractor operations and traffic conditions, making recommendations and taking corrective action when necessary.
• Review contractor operations for CAL OSHA compliance.
• Maintain complete project records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Prepare contract change orders and document field conditions requiring changes.
• Perform field inspections to verify conformance with plans and specifications.
• Monitor project schedule and budget and report to leadership.
• Assist in managing project to maintain quality, schedule, and budget.
