Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks an experienced Construction Manager to drive safety, schedule, and budget for major transit projects in California. You will review contractor performance, manage records, and coordinate with clients to ensure compliance with plans and regulations.

The role requires a California PE license, 10+ years in construction management on large transit projects, and leadership of major contracts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field required.
Registration as a Professional Engineer in California required.
Minimum ten years of construction management experience on transit projects over $30M.
Minimum three years of supervisory experience on major contracts of similar size and scope.
Valid California Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety of employees and public by observing operations and taking corrective action.
Review contractor operations for CAL OSHA compliance.
Maintain complete contract records for progress, expenditures and budgets.
Consult with contractors on compliance with plans, quality and construction activity.
Perform field inspections to verify plans, specs and utility agreements.
Prepare reports and incorporate daily inspection reports from Field Inspectors.
