Powerserve Technologies is seeking a Senior Substation Technician to ensure reliable operation and maintenance of high-voltage substations in manufacturing settings. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair transformers, circuit breakers, and protective relays to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with electrical apprenticeship or technical training.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with high-voltage equipment in substations or similar.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, substation equipment, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on substation equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using specialized testing equipment and documentation.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain protective relays, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to plan upgrades and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain detailed maintenance records.
