Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced field technician to perform complex electrical/mechanical tasks at customer facilities, including testing, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs of substations.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot and lead testing across transformers, cables, and breakers, while adhering to safety standards and coordinating with management on scheduling and costs. Overtime, travel, and relocation within 60 miles are required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s/Associate in Electrical/Electronic Technology preferred.
• Requires 10+ years of experience in electrical substations and related testing/maintenance.
• NETA Level III/IV certification within 6 months of employment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/mechanical tasks in power transmission, distribution, and generation at customer sites.
• Read manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and diagram equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean all substation components.
• Lead tasks such as transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing and ensure safety standards.
