Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Principal PCB Layout Engineer to lead the design and documentation of high-performance PCBs for demanding electronic systems.

You will collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust layouts. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in PCB layout, strong SI/PI, and experience with Xpedition or similar tools, enabling manufacturable and reliable boards in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in PCB layout design.
• Proficiency with Altium, Allegro or Xpedition.
• Strong signal integrity, EMI/EMC and thermal understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the layout of multi-layer PCBs using Siemens Xpedition (Mentor Graphics).
• Interpret schematics and translate into optimized PCB layouts.
• Define board stack-up, impedance control, via structures, routing strategies.
