Pacific Defense Inc. is seeking a Senior PCB Engineer to join a fast-paced, small team handling advanced electronics for defense and commercial customers.

This role emphasizes strong PCB design, documentation, and interaction with internal hardware, mechanical teams, and external contractors. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of PCB layout experience, expertise in high-speed signaling, DDR4 memory interfaces, and a track record of creating robust design processes.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of PCB layout and routing experience.
• Experience with high-speed (>10 Gbps) and >6 GHz designs.
• Experience with DDR4 memory interfaces.
• Boards with 16+ layers using buried and blind vias.
• Controlled impedance transmission lines design experience.
• Documentation of symbols and footprints processes.
• Leading a junior designer to create footprints.
• IPC compliance experience.
• Working with contract PCB designers and fabs.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with digital design during parts placement and routing.
• Collaborate with mechanical design for thermal integrity and clearance.
• Coordinate with PCB design contractors to ensure processes and deliverables.
• Work with PCB fabrication houses to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Lead design reviews of internal and external PCB layouts.
• Manage centralized footprint library for consistency.
