Job summary

Fidus Systems is seeking a Hardware Designer to architect and deliver complex, high-performance electronic systems. You will collaborate with FPGA, software, and SI/PI teams to define architectures and design high-speed circuits, from concept to bring-up.

You will mentor junior designers, drive robust engineering quality, and support regulatory testing while contributing across multiple domains such as space, telecom, and automotive applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct electronics design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading hardware design and mentoring junior engineers.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed circuit design and PCB layouts.

Responsibilities

• Develop system and board level architectures for high-speed electronic systems.
• Design high-speed circuits, SerDes and memory busses, and power sequencing.
• Perform design simulations and prototype validation with lab tests.
• Collaborate with SI/PI and PCB layout teams to ensure quality.
• Lead regulatory certification testing and document the process.
