Job summary

Fidus is a global high-tech design firm hiring an FPGA Designer to deliver complex FPGA-based systems. You will define architectures, implement RTL, integrate IP, run simulations, and support lab bring-up and debug within cross-functional teams.

You will work across video, communications, storage, signal processing domains, contributing to high-speed, high-complexity electronic systems using emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing RTL/Verilog/VHDL on FPGAs.
• Experience with video systems, high-speed memory interfaces, DSP or processor instantiations.
• Proven ability with Xilinx/Intel FPGA families and tool chains.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex FPGA/CPLD-based systems: architecture, IP, simulations, timing closure.
• Design FPGA-based systems using Xilinx and Intel devices.
• Participate in hardware-software interface reviews to ensure quality.
• Lab testing and prototype debugging with hardware/software engineers.
• Prepare test plans, design descriptions and user documentation.
• Provide technical input during pre-sales and implementation phases.
• Offer detailed project estimates to the Business Manager and Sales; present technical aspects.
