Fidus Systems is seeking a Hardware Designer to architect and deliver complex, high-performance electronic systems. You will collaborate across FPGA, software, and SI/PI teams to define architectures, design high-speed circuits, and support product development from concept through bring-up.

The role emphasizes hands-on debugging, design reviews, and mentoring while delivering production-ready designs. Fully remote with about 15% travel, domestic and international, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years direct electronics design experience.
• Experience with high-speed circuits and multi-layer PCB design.

Responsibilities

• Define system and board-level architectures with cross-functional teams.
• Design high-speed circuits and select components for DDR4/PCIe SerDes.
• Conduct simulations (LTSpice) and prototype verification.
• Collaborate with FPGA/software teams for integrated design.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical mentorship.
