Job summary

Fidus Systems is seeking a Hardware Designer to architect and deliver high-performance electronic systems. You will work with FPGA, software, and SI/PI teams to define system architectures, design high-speed circuits, and support bring-up and validation.

The role emphasizes tackling DDR/PCIe/SerDes designs, mentoring junior designers, and producing production-ready documentation across the full hardware lifecycle. Fully remote with ~15% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electronics design experience.
• Ability to lead a design technically and as a mentor.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed circuits and multi-layer PCB design.

Responsibilities

• Develop system and board-level architectural design with cross-functional teams.
• Provide schematic design and component selection for high-speed circuits.
• Conduct design simulations and lab bring-up of hardware prototypes.
• Lead regulatory certification testing and generate documentation.
