Job summary

CCI is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for one of our high-rise communities in Los Angeles, CA. You will oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and lead on-site technicians under the supervision of the Property Manager.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, compliance with HUD/LIHTC standards, managing vendor contracts, and maintaining a high standard of resident service while maximizing unit turns and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in property maintenance including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• 1+ years’ experience managing people in a supervisory role.
• Experience with standard real estate software (Yardi, Microsoft Office 365) preferred.
• Experience with affordable housing programs (project-based Section 8, LIHTC) preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; industry certifications such as HVAC, CAMT, CMRP, PMP preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in high-rise or multi-story residential communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings, and grounds as scheduled.
• Lead maintenance team, mentor teammates, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, bid processes, and capital improvement planning.
• Perform regular inspections of building systems and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality workmanship.
• Utilize Yardi Maintenance Mobile and other IT tools.
