Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Flight Engineer (Maintenance) for HH-60W operations in the United States. The role encompasses pre-flight planning, weight and balance calculations, and in-flight checks to determine airworthiness.

You will perform operational checks, support troubleshooting, and maintain IF qualifications while working with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include deploying with maintenance test flights, ferrying when needed, and ensuring adherence to technical publications and safety

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must hold and maintain a current Top Secret Security Clearance.
Must possess FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.
Must be a graduate of USAF HH-60W Special Mission Aviator initial qualification.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of aircraft systems, procedures and safety regulations.
Perform ground and in-flight checks to ensure airworthiness and proper operation of UH/HH-60W.
pre-flight preparations, weight and balance, fuel and maintenance forms and records.
Assist troubleshooting and maintenance while ensuring compliance with directives.
Deploy on maintenance/test flights when required and support mission needs.
