The role requires a Top Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a valid FAA Second Class Medical Certificate, with at least 1000 flight hours (500 in helicopters).

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid FAA Medical Certificate Second Class.
• Must have a current Top Secret Security Clearance.
• US citizenship required to obtain/maintain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance ground and in-flight checks to determine airworthiness.
• Maintains currency, proficiency in HH-60W aircraft.
• Pre-flights aircraft and prepares weight/balance, fuel and records.
• Conducts operational checks to aid troubleshooting and system checks.
• Performs Instructor Flight Engineer duties and maintains qualification.
• Strives to improve operations and provide quality customer service.
• Works with minimum supervision.
