Job summary

Amentum is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform complex maintenance on H-60 and S-70 aircraft, using advanced electrical and avionics knowledge. The role requires FAA A&P certification, military maintenance training, and the ability to pass security clearance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, directing assigned personnel, coordinating with the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, and ensuring data integrity in MIS. Overtime and varied shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of recent aircraft maintenance on H-60 or S-70 aircraft.
• Possess a valid FAA Airframe and Power Plant certification (A&P).
• Completed U.S. military aviation maintenance training with at least 1 year of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on H-60/S-70 aircraft and related systems.
• Provide technical direction to assigned personnel and use test equipment for diagnosis and verification.
• Coordinate workloads with the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor and ensure accurate entry of maintenance data into MIS.
• Assist modification teams including prepping and reassembly of aircraft and conducting software upgrades as required.
• Monitor quality assurance reports and implement corrective actions to improve maintenance quality.
