Job summary

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. is seeking an Oncology Territory Manager to represent the company’s oncology portfolio to assigned medical accounts in the United States.

The role includes promoting products, educating about disease states, and sharing approved information with physicians and other stakeholders. You will travel up to 60%, build relationships with hospitals, academic centers and other customers, and coordinate with district and regional teams to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in pharma or healthcare experience.
• 1+ year sales/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry.
• Specialty, rare disease, and/or oncology experience strongly preferred.
• Experience selling in complex environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieves or exceeds sales objectives through promotion of product features and benefits to key accounts.
• Builds relationships with customers and key opinion leaders by visiting, educating and influencing prescribing.
• Analyzes customer needs, maintains target lists, and plans calls to meet goals.
• Complies with laws in providing healthcare information and reports adverse events as required.
• Participates in training, stays updated on products, market conditions and competitive activities.
• Serves as a disease state expert and maintains territory records and reports for management.
