Holt CAT in Irving, Texas seeks a Shop Service Technician for the day shift. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered heavy equipment per manufacturer specs. Mid-level, with potential to mentor others and work independently to support customer needs.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with diesel systems, engines, and hydraulic/electrical components, plus CAT ET and SIS2.0 familiarity. Must be able to operate tools and heavy equipment safely.

Qualificações

• Seven or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability and knowledge to read/use schematics and diagrams experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from a diesel technology program preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and failures
• Disassembles and assembles machine components to manufacturer’s specifications with hand/pneumatic tools
• Rebuilds, repairs, reconditions, and maintains construction equipment
• Maintains organized work areas and documents repairs promptly
• Plans and controls cost of repair jobs
• Mentors and trains other technicians
