Holt CAT in Irving, TX is seeking an engine shop mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel-powered or natural gas-powered engines and related equipment. The role emphasizes independent work and teamwork within the Power Systems Division (PSD) to meet customer needs and department goals.

Mid-level technician with seven+ years experience, capable of leading repair tasks, reviewing schematics, and training others. Onsite, full-time position with travel as needed and occasional overtime.

Formación

• Seven or more years of diesel-powered or natural gas powered engine experience preferred.
• Ability to read/use schematics and diagrams; experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from a diesel technology program preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Disassembles and assembles machine components to manufacturer specs using hand/pneumatic tools and specialized tooling.
• Rebuilds, repairs, and maintains equipment and components.
• Mentors and trains others; communicates customer needs to management.
• Plans and controls cost of repair jobs.
• Maintains clean and safe work areas and completes repair documents on time.
