Job summary

HOLT CAT in Irving, Texas is seeking a Shop Servcie Tech 3 to perform inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of diesel-powered heavy equipment at the component rebuild center. This position may work independently or with a team to meet customer needs and departmental goals.

The role is full-time, onsite at 2000 E Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75061, with weekday hours 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You will troubleshoot malfunctions, disassemble and reassemble components, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer

Qualifications

• Four or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics/diagrams preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from a diesel technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered heavy equipment.
• Disassemble and assemble machine components per manufacturer specs.
• Rebuild, repair, and maintain equipment and components.
• Document all work electronically and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Order parts online and identify parts for return.
• Mentor and train other technicians.
