Job summary

The mid-level role targets technicians with 4+ years in the field, with Level III responsibilities, mentoring others and ensuring safety and quality in repairs and documentation.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read/use schematics and diagrams.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from a diesel technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Disassembles and assembles machine components to manufacturer specifications.
• Rebuilds, repairs, and maintains equipment.
• Mentors and helps train other technicians.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
• Completes repair documents in a timely manner.
