Job summary

HOLT CAT in Irving, TX seeks an experienced Shop Service Technician III for diesel-powered heavy equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild machines to manufacturer specs, work from schematics, and contribute to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced shop.

This mid-to senior role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, opportunities to mentor junior techs, and the chance to work with CAT equipment such as dozers, excavators, graders, and more.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience.
• Ability to read/use schematics and diagrams (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Diesel technology program graduation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel-powered heavy equipment and components.
• Disassemble and reassemble machine components to spec.
• Plan and execute repairs, maintain documentation and safety
• Mentor junior technicians and support shop operations.
