Job summary

Holt CAT is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas Region in Irving. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment, including emissions and hydraulic systems, with a schedule Monday–Friday 7am–5pm and overtime as required.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of heavy equipment experience, CDL-B eligibility, DOT medical card, and CAT ET/SIS2.0 familiarity. Valid driver’s license and proper safety certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years of heavy equipment experience.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL Class B.
• DOT medical card required.
• CAT ET and CAT SIS2.0 proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment.
• Document all work orders accurately.
• Perform Tier 4 emission system and EGR diagnostics.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Maintain service records and customer communication.
