Mid-level position with 4+ years of experience; on-site, full-time; requires ability to read schematics and operate hand tools, forklift, and overhead crane. Travel modestly for service needs.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience preferred
• Ability and knowledge to read/use schematics and diagrams experience is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Graduation from a diesel technology program preferred

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions
• Disassembles and assembles machine components per manufacturer specifications
• Rebuilds, repairs, and maintains equipment and components
• Communicates customer needs to shop management
• Plans and controls cost of repair jobs
• Completes parts orders and identifies parts for return
• Mentors and helps train other technicians
• Maintains clean and safe work areas
• Completes repair documentation
• Works overtime as required
• Updates knowledge through training paths
• Performs other duties as assigned
