Job summary

Republic Services in Oklahoma City is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis, refuse bodies, air and hydraulic braking, engine, HVAC, suspension, drive train, and electrical systems.

You will receive ongoing training, work on a single fleet with state‑of‑the‑art equipment, support our drivers on their routes, and have opportunities for career growth with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• 5‑7 years of experience as a technician on heavy‑duty trucks.
• CDL class B or higher is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains advanced knowledge of vehicle components and systems, and performs complex repairs both on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance; air and hydraulic braking systems; engine repair and diagnostics.
• Suspension, drivetrain, steering systems, HVAC diagnostics and repair; aftertreatment systems and diagnostics.
• Able to diagnose electrical concerns with scan tools; line welding and fabrication.
• Performs company training programs and other duties as assigned.
