Job summary

Republic Services in the United States seeks a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and gasoline equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, braking, HVAC, and drive train systems. You will diagnose multi-system issues and provide on-site service to keep trucks on route.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technician experience with gasoline and diesel equipment.
• ASE Certifications (T1–T8) are a plus but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of chassis components.
• Maintenance of refuse bodies and braking/electrical systems.
• Light engine repair; HVAC, suspension and drive train work.
• Perform on-road service when needed; identify malfunctions with tools.
• Complete Company training programs and perform other duties as assigned.
