EPC Consultants LLC is seeking an Estimator III to lead complex estimates for heavy civil and energy-sector projects. The role will start remotely and transition to an Austin, Texas office, with occasional travel for site walks and bid activities.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in construction estimating, strong leadership in shaping estimates, and advanced skills in HCSS HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Excel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in construction estimating, including 4+ years leading estimates.
• Demonstrated experience independently developing and leading complex estimates.
• Experience evaluating estimate risk, construction approach, and bid strategy.
• Experience presenting estimates and risk considerations during formal reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex estimates and pursuits from opportunity review through bid completion.
• Establish estimate structure, responsibilities, deliverables, and review requirements.
• Lead development and review of quantities, labor, equipment, materials, subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Validate estimate completeness, accuracy, and traceability using historical cost and production data.
• Present estimate strategy and recommendations during leadership bid reviews.
• Coordinate with operations and project leadership to validate construction strategy, production, schedule, and site conditions.
• Lead estimate-to-operations handoffs, communicating scope, pricing strategy, risks, and execution considerations.
• Provide mentoring to Estimator I, Estimator II, and other estimating personnel.
