Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is expanding its civil construction practice and seeks a Lead Estimator to prepare detailed estimates for self-perform heavy civil projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in heavy civil estimating, experience with Bid2Win or HCSS, and the ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications. Remote work is required with EST/CST alignment and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering required.
• 10+ years estimating experience in heavy civil construction preferred.
• Experience estimating federal projects is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates for large projects.
• Provide quantity takeoff information and cost assessments.
• Source and analyze subcontractor/vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for estimates.
• Collaborate with field and office teams to finalize estimates.
• Meet submission deadlines and coordinate constructability reviews.
