EPC Consultants LLC in Austin, TX is seeking an Estimator I to support accurate, competitive estimates for heavy civil and energy-sector projects. You will perform quantity takeoffs, develop costs, and collaborate with estimating and operations teams to build well-supported bids.

This position is currently remote with plans to transition to our Austin office. Occasional site walks and meetings at other locations may be required, and you will work with teams across multiple locations to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with 2+ years of construction experience.
• Experience interpreting plans and specifications for quantity takeoffs and cost development.
• Familiarity with heavy civil estimating and construction means/methods.

Responsabilités

• Review plans and bid documents to determine project requirements.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for civil construction scopes.
• Develop labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and supplier costs.
• Validate assumptions using cost history and production data.
• Present estimate components for review and coordinate with teams.
• Identify scope gaps and estimating risks and document clarifications.
