Job summary

SES Constructors LLC seeks a Lead Estimator to prepare detailed heavy civil estimates from plans and specs. You will take off quantities, evaluate costs, and coordinate with subs and vendors for best value.

Remote work is possible with EST/CST alignment and periodic travel as needed. Requirements include a construction management or civil engineering degree, self-perform civil experience, and familiarity with Bid2Win or HCSS Heavy Bid, CPM scheduling, and contract documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Must have field experience in self-perform contracting of civil infrastructure scopes.
• Experience estimating federal projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, schedules; proficient with CPM scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project size, scope, and mix.
• Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and assess total construction costs.
• Source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and develop plans to address them with the project team.
• Collaborate with field and office professionals to prepare each estimate.
• Meet interim milestones for constructability and productivity reviews.
