Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Business Development Manager III to drive growth in healthcare packaging, focusing on thermoformed tray opportunities across North America. You will build a robust pipeline of 10-15 active deals, identify decision-makers, and nurture relationships with customers to win long-term contracts.

You will collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and Operations to support trials, onboarding, and account transitions, while reporting pipeline health and market insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in large-scale B2B sales.
• 7+ years in packaging industry.
• Direct experience selling healthcare thermoformed trays.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international travel to Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to win new healthcare thermoformed tray business across your assigned North American territory.
• Build and manage a pipeline of 10-15 active opportunities while generating new leads.
• Research prospects, identify decision-makers, and engage potential customers through outreach and networking.
• Understand market trends, customer challenges, and opportunities to position Amcor's solutions effectively.
• Deliver revenue growth, improve profitability, and create meaningful customer engagement through new account acquisition.
• Lead onboarding and implementation for new opportunities, ensuring a smooth transition to active customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Product Management, Field Service, and Operations to support trials and commercialization.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline health, wins, challenges, and market developments.
• Monitor profitability and customer retention metrics while identifying growth opportunities.
