Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to convert vendor file specs into detailed data mapping aligned with the Enterprise Data Platform. You will serve as a liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure data is integrated, transformed, and delivered.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of data analysis experience, advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field (Required).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, mapping, ETL, data warehouse or related environments.
• Advanced-level skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, and Databricks.
• Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specs, data dictionaries and requirements.
• Experience in healthcare data domains and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Convert vendor file specifications into detailed data mapping documents.
• Align source data elements with Enterprise Data Platform structures and business rules.
• Serve as liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Support data quality and data stewardship functions to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with QA, UAT, production implementation, and post-deployment validation.
