Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to convert vendor data specs into detailed mapping and business rules for the Enterprise Data Platform. You will coordinate between business stakeholders, vendors, and tech teams to ensure data is integrated, transformed, validated, and delivered.

The role requires at least 3 years in data analysis, strong Excel/SQL/Power BI and experience with data warehousing, ETL, and healthcare data domains.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of data analysis or related data environments.
• Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI and data validation.
• Experience creating source-to-target mapping docs and technical specs.
• Ability to interpret data dictionaries, file specs and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate vendor data specs into detailed mapping documents aligned with EDP structures and rules.
• Serve as liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Support data quality, governance, validation, QA/UAT, and post-deployment checks.
• Communicate findings clearly to operational, clinical, finance or executive stakeholders.
