Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst in Virginia Beach, VA to convert file specifications into data mapping documentation, align data with the Enterprise Data Platform, and ensure quality across healthcare data domains. You’ll liaison with stakeholders and vendors to drive accurate data integration and validation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of data analytics experience, with advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field (Required).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, data mapping, ETL, data warehouse, or related data environments.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and documentation or collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate vendor data specifications, layouts, and business requirements into detailed data mapping documentation that aligns source data with Enterprise Data Platform structures.
• Serve as liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure proper data integration, transformation, validation, and delivery.
• Support data quality and data stewardship functions to maintain data accuracy.
