Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to convert vendor specifications into mapping documentation and align data with Enterprise Data Platform structures. You will liaise with stakeholders and ensure data is integrated, transformed, validated, and delivered throughout the analytics ecosystem.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in data analysis with advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks, plus healthcare data experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field (Required).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, mapping, ETL, data warehouse, or related data environments.
• Advanced-level skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation and technical specs.
• Ability to interpret source system docs, file specs, and data dictionaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis support and convert vendor specs into mapping docs aligned with EDP structures.
• Serve as liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Ensure data is integrated, transformed, validated, and delivered within the analytics ecosystem.
• Support data quality, data stewardship, QA, UAT, and post-deployment validation activities.
