Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to convert vendor specifications into detailed data mappings for the Enterprise Data Platform. You will liaise among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure accurate data integration, validation, and delivery within the enterprise analytics ecosystem.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in analytics or related field and at least 3 years of data analysis experience with Excel, SQL, Power BI,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, data mapping, ETL, data warehousing or related data environments.
• Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation and Databricks; able to interpret requirements and document mappings.
• Experience creating source-to-target mappings, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Ability to communicate findings to operational, clinical, finance, or executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Convert vendor file specs, layouts, and business requirements into detailed data mapping documentation.
• Translate source data elements into Enterprise Data Platform structures and business rules.
• Collaborate with business, vendors, and technical teams to ensure data quality and successful delivery.
• Support QA, UAT, production implementation and post-deployment validation activities.
• Serve as SME for data-related decisions in healthcare data domains.
