Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to convert vendor specifications into detailed data mappings aligned with Enterprise Data Platform structures. You will liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure data is properly integrated, transformed, validated and delivered within the analytics ecosystem.

You will support data quality and stewardship, using analytic skills to draw data-driven conclusions for business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, data mapping, ETL, data warehouse, or related data environments.
• Advanced-level skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, and Databricks.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Experience with healthcare, payer, claims, enrollment, or other regulated data domains.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Convert vendor file specifications into data mapping documentation aligning with EDP structures.
• Serve as liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Ensure data is integrated, transformed, validated, and delivered within the enterprise analytics ecosystem.
• Support data quality and data stewardship functions to maintain data accuracy.
