Job summary

ECG Management Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Analyst to support client delivery and business development. You will manage large datasets, aggregate internal and external data, develop scalable models and supporting visuals for physician and executive leadership.

You will collaborate with IT, BD, and L&D teams on innovative analytic opportunities across diverse healthcare engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Math and strong data analytics foundation.
• 5+ years of healthcare data analytics experience with actionable insights.
• Experience in healthcare consulting or hospital/health system context is preferred.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Gather and synthesize data from diverse sources for analyses.
• Prepare analyses on hospital databases and provider claims data.
• Build scalable financial and operational models to forecast trends.
• Enhance models using SQL, with Python or R in some scenarios.
• Perform complex analyses on big data and interpret results.
• Create relational databases using SQL Server or Fabric.
• Communicate market insights to pursuit teams and support BD efforts.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and visuals across environments.
• Research and implement Power BI solutions and best practices.
• Partner with multiple consulting units to gather data requirements.
• Maintain interfaces to exchange data among Power BI, SQL, and cloud apps.
• Document analytics procedures and develop new methodologies.
• Contribute to internal education on analytics use cases.
