ECG Management Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in the Chicago area to support client delivery and business development.

You will manage large datasets, build scalable models, and support data visualization with Power BI across multiple projects. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in healthcare data analytics, strong SQL and Power BI skills, and experience translating complex data into actionable insights for healthcare providers and payers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, statistics, health information management, or related field.
• 5+ years of healthcare data analytics experience, analyzing clinical, operational, financial, or population health data.
• Experience in healthcare consulting, technology, or hospitals/health systems delivering data-driven insights.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and translating data into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Gather and synthesize data from various sources (surveys, proprietary research, client interviews, markets).
• Prepare analyses on hospital inpatient databases and provider claims data.
• Build flexible, scalable financial and operational models to forecast trends and scenarios.
• Enhance models using SQL primarily, with Python or R in some cases.
• Perform complex analyses on big data: cleaning, preparing, interpreting.
• Configure and maintain Power BI reports and visuals across environments.
