SCAN is seeking a Healthcare Analyst II to develop, document, and program 5-Star projects and internal initiatives. The role involves in-depth data analysis, HEDIS reporting, and related tasks to achieve high 5-Star ratings.

You will research, analyze, and present findings on Medicare Advantage data, member and claims information, and state program requirements, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or other quantitative disciplines required.
• 5+ years of analytical experience, or 4+ years in Healthcare/Managed Care environment.
• Experience with HEDIS is preferred.
• Experience with medical claims/encounters data is preferred.
• MS Office Suite advanced level required.
• Proficiency with MS SQL (queries) required.

Responsabilités

• Research and moderate analysis of Medicare Advantage and healthcare data (membership, provider, claims, authorizations, pharmacy, financial).
• Designs and delivers analysis and data interpretation for 5-Star ratings, HEDIS, state programs (QIP/PIP), and related initiatives.
• Leads development, implementation, and QA processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Performs data management, quality improvement studies, statistical analysis, and report generation; presents findings to Analysts and management.
• Conducts data mining, verification, mapping, scrubbing, and scrapping; interprets organizational data.
• Develops actionable findings within tight deadlines and changing requirements.
• Investigates root causes, trends, and recommendations for action.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to troubleshoot data anomalies.
• Manages multiple projects, prioritizes work, and communicates workload issues.
