Job summary

SCAN is seeking a Healthcare Analyst III to develop, document, and program analyses for 5-Star projects and in-house initiatives. You will perform in-depth analysis of Medicare Advantage data across membership, provider, claims, and financial information to deliver timely insights and reliable QA for high-stakes reporting.

The role requires a quantitative degree and 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, with expertise in MS SQL, Power BI, and SAS.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or other quantitative disciplines required.
5+ years analytical experience, or 4+ years in Healthcare/Managed Care environment.
HEDIS experience preferred.
Experience with medical claims / encounters data preferred.
MS Office Suite at advanced level required.
Proficiency with MS SQL (queries) required.
Snowflake experience preferred.
Power BI experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, document, and program for 5-Star projects and in-house initiatives.
Conduct in-depth data analysis, HEDIS reporting, and related tasks.
Lead data management, QA, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy.
Perform complex analysis, data mining, mapping, scrubbing, and reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot data anomalies and meet deadlines.
Provide guidance and training to junior Analysts.
