Job summary

TriNet is seeking a Senior Health Plan Pricing Analyst in Denver to determine medical pricing for prospects based on risk, using industry tools and carrier data.

The role involves training colleagues, liaising with carrier pricing teams, and ensuring pricing accuracy across complex self-funded groups. This position advances the Health Plan Pricing department within TriNet's Insurance Services team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Typically 5+ years in insurance pricing or underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of health plan pricing and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Determine an appropriate medical price based on group risk using pricing tools.
• Review prospect's current medical offerings for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with carrier partner requirements.
• Review complex cases such as self-funded groups with 100+ employees.
• Collaborate with Sales to explain pricing guidelines.
• Assist in training new colleagues and share tool outputs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to TriNet policies and standards.
