Job summary

TriNet Group, Inc. invites applications for a Senior Health Plan Pricing Analyst to determine medical pricing for prospects using specialized tools and carrier data.

You will partner with Sales and pricing teams and take ownership of pricing decisions while supporting mentoring within the Insurance Services group. The role emphasizes independent thinking, accuracy, and collaboration, with a pathway to leadership within Health Plan Pricing.

Qualifications

• Exceptional knowledge of health plan pricing.
• Interpret and analyze detailed medical plans and related documents.
• Experience with trend analysis, risk forecasting and claims evaluation.
• Interact with Sales to explain medical pricing guidelines, requirements, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel.
• Salesforce.com knowledge is preferred.
• Use mathematical skills to solve problems.
• Exercise independent thinking and complete projects with little guidance.
• Handle multiple tasks and prioritize projects.

Responsibilities

• Determine an appropriate medical price based on risk using multiple tools.
• Review prospect’s current medical offerings.
• Ensure compliance with carrier partner requirements.
• Review complex cases such as self-funded groups and those over 100 employees.
• Collaborate with Sales colleagues.
• Evaluate output of tools and resources TriNet uses.
• Train new colleagues and support ongoing training.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
• Comply with policies and standards.
