TriNet Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Health Plan Pricing Analyst in Minneapolis to determine medical pricing by evaluating risk with multiple tools and working with carrier pricing teams. This role also supports training and liaises with carrier partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance pricing or underwriting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to explain pricing guidelines to Sales. Remote/hybrid options may be considered in some cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Typically 5+ years in insurance pricing or underwriting required.
• Experience with trend analysis, risk forecasting and claims evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate medical price based on group risk using multiple tools.
• Review prospect's current medical offerings.
• Ensure compliance with carrier partner requirements.
• Review complex cases (self-funded groups, >100 employees).
• Collaborate with Sales to explain pricing guidelines.
• Assist in training of new colleagues and ongoing training.
